Beach Wanderlust from New Mexico

Living in land-locked New Mexico can often inspire a bit of “beach wanderlust". Especially, if one spends too much time scrolling through social media photos featuring pristine white sand and swaying palm trees.

Yes, this has happened to me recently and now as summer approaches, I am seriously considering a week (at least) at the beach this summer. I am ready to trade these beautiful red rocks, petroglyphs, and herds of pronghorn for sandy beaches, salt water spray, and fruity drinks.
