There is nothing quite as comfy as wrapping up in a cozy shawl or cardigan on a cold winter day. Cuddling up with your favorite book, a cup of hot cocoa, and a luxuriously warm cardigan is my idea of a perfect winter afternoon.
Since moving to Santa Fe, I've found myself drawn to the gorgeous patterned shawls and wraps that reflect the beauty of the Southwest. The best part about these layers? They seem to be extra cozy and warm. Maybe it's the influence of the Navajo blankets after which they are patterned or simply that they are made for defending against the cold winds of the winter desert.
Regardless of the reason, these Southwest cardigans and shawls are now officially my favorite pick for layering up in winter. Enjoy these beauties!
